New Singers Debut in Mexico Community Messiah Performance
The Mexico Community Chorus will present Handel's The Messiah at 3 p.m. Sunday Dec. 7 at First Presbyterian Church. Four soloists debut, including Mrs. Frank Greiner, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Kingsriter, and tenor David Raboin, with contributions from experienced chorus members. Greiner has operatic credits with the St. Louis Opera and symphony appearances. Kingsriters bring Evangel College background and Springfield connections. Raboin opens with Comfort Ye, while the group supports He Shall Feed His Flock and The Trumpet Shall Sound. DAR meeting follows Dec. 1 at Audrain County Museum with Christmas reflections and toy donations for veterans.
