Two Mexico area weddings unite in marriage celebrations
Miss Pamela Lou Lowther of Mexico and Michael Lee Fennewald of Bryan, Ohio, were married at St. Brendan's Church in Mexico on November 5. The double ceremony featured a ring exchange and elaborate floral decor with white gladiolus, carnations, and gardenias. The couple will reside at 710 South Beech Street, Bryan, after celebrations with families from Mexico, Jefferson City, Columbia, and St. Louis.

Omicron Alpha sorority held its November 8 meeting at the First National Bank with Mrs. Lu Ann Baker hosting. A beef-drawing winner was Mrs. Ann Graham of Auxvasse. A bus trip to Chesterfield Mall was proposed for $6, departing Auxvasse at 8 a.m. A November 19 night out at Red Lobster in Columbia was approved, with 7 p.m. arrival.

The Mexico Jaycee Wives sponsor the Outstanding Young Woman of Mexico program now in its 16th year. Nominees must be 21 or older and under 36 by Dec 1 1977. A panel from mid Missouri will judge based on activities in the prior year with a Nov 30 1977 deadline. A state contest follows and a dinner will announce the winner.
