PTA Gun Safety Program Highlights Community Meeting
R-6 PTA met at the school on November 3 at 7 30 p m led by co presidents Mrs Sandra Wright and Mrs Judy Alger. Larry Abraham conservation agent presented gun safety and showed a film Sweet Sundays Gone. December program will cover toy safety and reading and language arts. Also noted were Follies results with Paul Knipfel and Terri Ruthel as king and queen and a bicentennial cookbook door prize won by Dwayne Layman. Hi Way R-3 menus listed for the coming week with daily dishes and desserts.

Miss Maude Orita Wallace, a Mexico music teacher, composer and author, is honored by the Audrain County Historical Society. Her 40 years of teaching plus 13 published operettas, her bell orchestra, and national radio appearance mark a life of musical leadership and civic involvement.
