First Christian Youth Set to Lead Sunday Service
The junior and senior high youth of First Christian Church will direct a 10 45 a m service this Sunday with approval of the general board and ministers. The theme Closing the Generation Gap features a Mission Impossible style presentation on overcoming misund erstandings in home school and church. Youth will serve as greeters ushers choir elders deacons and ministers. The participants are members of Chi Rho Fellowship Christian Youth Fellowship and the Junior Deacons and Junior Deaconesses boards.

Second Baptist Revival Set for Nov 15 19
The Second Baptist Church of Mexico plans a revival Monday through Friday next week led by Rev. J. C. Wade of Omaha Nebraska. He brings 40 years of evangelism and 27 years as Salem Baptist pastor. Each evening at 7 pm features a different choir with local church participants and visiting groups.

First Christian Church of Montgomery City marks 100th anniversary
The First Christian Church of Montgomery City celebrates 100 years in a 43 year old white frame building on Sturgeon Street, dedicated December 16, 1928. Organized in 1871, its first building was completed in 1881, now listing 170 members. Dr. Lester Rickman will preach at 10:30 Sunday, with a 2:30 program and 11:30 a.m. covered dish dinner. The church will honor 50 year members including Mrs. Nelson Cope and others listed in the afternoon program.

Church Open House for Pastor Acuff in Centralia
The new pastor of First Baptist Church in Centralia will be honored with an open house Sunday from 2 to 4. Public is invited to meet Rev. Joe Acuff and his family. Trout of South Elgin will preach at First Baptist Vandalia at 10:10 a.m. The Rev. Rudy Beard speaks to Presbyterian Pioneers at 5 p.m. and Senior Highs at 6 p.m. on Youth Ministries in Fulton.
