How to Mark a Ballot for Straight or Split Tickets
The voter must retire to a booth and mark the ballot by placing X in the circle under a party name for a straight vote or in squares for split tickets. Lines through printed names allow writing in a candidate, with marked squares taking precedence over circles. Irregular X marks do not void ballots.
