Unemployment Rate Drops in Two-County Area
The combined Audrain and Montgomery counties show a 2.5 percent jobless rate for April, down from 3.6 percent in March. Total employed in the labor force reached 16,466, with Audrain at 2.1 percent and Montgomery at 3.2 percent. The statewide rate stands at 4.8 percent.
