Mexico High’s class of 1947 schedules its 25th reunion for July 8. Seventy attendees will join a social hour at the Monterey Motel, dinner, a dance, and a business meeting at Knights of Columbus Hall with a call for five year resumes and photos for a perpetual scrapbook.

PTA officers from Mexico and Columbia attended a School of Information session at Hickman High School. Eugene Field School’s Mrs. Walter G. Staley Jr. and Mrs. Bob Gooch led, Hardin's co-presidents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Besalke and others joined, Hawthorne's officers attended, and state VP Vernon Langemach gave the main address on action in the 70s with the theme Be the Best We Can in the 70s.
