Gamma Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi hosted its Mothers Day banquet at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Mrs. Howard Richards spoke, sharing excerpts from Dick Van Dyke's Faith Hope and Hilarity and the Closing term Stairway to Happiness. Members received awards. Richards earned the Order of the Rose degree after 27 years of service.

Mothers To Be Highlight Of MMA Weekend
Mothers of MMA cadets will be honored with Mother's Day activities May 10 and 11 at Missouri Military Academy. Cadet mothers join in a flower-pinning ceremony at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, pinning red flowers on their sons. If a cadet’s mother is deceased, a white flower is pinned by visiting mothers.
