Viewers complain over FCC rule favoring local stations
Sedalia residents fear FCC priority for Komu Tv and Kreg Tv over Kansas City networks on LVO Cable. Last minute changes by the local stations alter blackout logs, causing some viewers to see Columbia or Jefferson City programs instead of the Kansas City schedule. The FCC has designated Komu and Kreg as local stations in Sedalia, giving them priority in programming. Mexican viewers report a similar issue with See Tv in Mexico when the local station changes its schedule after blackout requests.
