Miniature Mules Grow Popular in Missouri as MMA Forms
Missouri breeders met in Sedalia on March 11 to form the Miniature Mule Association of Missouri and pursue legal incorporation. The group defines a miniature mule as 48 inches or less and plans MMA sponsored shows and classes. MMA officials, including President-elect Merle Scrogin, announce acceptance by the Missouri Horse Show Association and the Pony Express Association for their mules. Officers elected include Jack Smils as vice president, William E. Cox as secretary, and Richard W. Jackson as treasurer.
