Singer Faces Possible Trial in Homicide Case
Aspen Colorado AP reports singer actress Claudine Longet faces an April 8 court appearance and a possible charge of criminally negligent homicide in the shooting death of ski star Vladimir Sabich. Longet, 34, released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond after a 22 minute hearing, left the courthouse with ex husband Andy Williams. Prosecutor Frank Tucker said an autopsy showed Sabich died from a massive hemorrhage due to a single gunshot wound and investigators are assessing whether the shooting was accidental or intentional.
