Litton Urges End To Feuding Among Farm Groups
Congressman Jerry Litton urged Audrain County Farm Bureau members to unite for pro farmer legislation. In Emmons Hall he said urban attitudes breed blame when food prices rise, noted food costs as a share of income, and emphasized incentives for production. He cited talks with Rep. Shirley Chisholm and defended recent farm bills as reasonable with price supports and export potential.
