Lowan Seeks Vote On Bill To Cut DST
Washington AP The Senate may remove three words from the Uniform Time Act amendment to allow states split by time zones to exempt only parts from daylight saving. The House, by a 332 to 7 vote, backed Indiana's plan enabling partial state exemptions, with Alaska in four zones and several two-zone states affected.
