Walkathon Entrants Compete For Prizes At March of Dimes Event
Entrants compete for top prizes in the March of Dimes Walk-a-thon to be held Saturday March 24. First place awards include a $100 ten speed bicycle and a Magnavox television. second place gets a digital clock studio. The 20 mile course starts at Hardin Junior High and features route check points. Participants must secure at least 10 cents per mile from sponsors, with registration at 8 am. Proceeds fund birth defect research and prenatal care, with local support from Audrain County MOD and the University of Missouri center.
