Aid Not In Budget Cites No Fat For Postwar North Vietnam Aid
Washington AP Defense Secretary Elliot Richardson says there are no pockets of fat in the defense budget to fund postwar aid for North Vietnam. He adds funds may be possible if ceasefire holds, and mentions reprogramming options if Congress cuts the 1974 defense budget. Nearby, Stanley Dulaney, 77, of Sturgeon and Centralia, dies in Audrain Medical Center after a long illness. Funeral arrangements set for Sturgeon Christian Church with burial at Mt Horeb Cemetery. Mr. Dulaney was a longtime farmer and realtor associate, survived by a sister, a brother, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
