Fertilizing Vegetables Pays Off
Home gardeners should fertilize vegetables to boost yields. Compost from grass and kitchen waste lacks enough nutrients. Use a fertilizer formulated for vegetables to supply essential nutrients in balanced amounts. Modern blends work across leaf, root, and fruit crops and can be applied at planting for long-lasting feeding.
