In Torrance California a four year old boy survived a gunshot wound that stopped his heart and breathing. Doctors say the aorta injury usually proves fatal but the child received expert care and survived after a complex seven-hole intestinal repair and aorta repair. The boy’s mother Beatrice Horton says she won’t keep a gun in her purse again.
