Centralia Council weighs paving plan and water rate hike

Centralia discussed long term street paving and development guidelines, plus a proposed water rate increase that could add about $10,000 annually. Hefty changes would raise heavy user rates and alter minimum charges, while paving provisions cover curb and gutter work and future street projects. City joins LAGERS, and a highway agreement for the new Route 124 project was authorized with details on right of way obtained.
