Survived by husband Charles and two daughters Mrs Betty Porter of Tucson Arizona and Mrs Janet Hall of Montgomery City.
Farber notice of funeral for Carl Richard Stewart 54 of Farber who died Sunday at Audrain Medical Center. Service at Farber Christian Church at 4 p.m. burial in Farber Cemetery. Pallbearers include Stewart nephews and local relatives. Survived by wife Thelma Irene, three daughters, one son, three grandsons, and eight siblings. Former North American Refractories employee and church member.
Funeral services for Mrs George H Mudd 69 a retired teacher were conducted May 22 at Middletown Methodist Church with Rev Bob Hoehn officiating Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery Emma Lillian Wright born June 5 1908 near Vandalia to Edwin and Jessie Craig Wright married to George H Mudd April 21 1934 He survives with two sons eight grandchildren and several relatives She taught in Pike and Montgomery rural schools and in Middleton Vandalia Elementary until retirement in 1972 She was member of Horeh Presbyterian Church Marling Extension Club DAR Vandalia Chapter and AAUW.
Mrs. Mabel B. Davis, 70, of Knoxville died there May 30. A former High Hill resident born Nov 2, 1908, she was married to William G. Davis. Surviving are a son William Davis of Washington DC, daughter Frances N. Ballar of Denver, seven grandchildren, sister Frances Hall of Mineola, and brother Howard Moore of Holts Summit. Graveside services at Mount Pleasant Cemetery High Hill Friday at 10 am officiated by Rev. Richard Taylor. Schianker Funeral Home in charge.
