Anacortes Man Retires From Coast Guard in Seattle
Enim Dewey Monter of Anacortes Washington retires from the Coast Guard on June 30 at the District Office in Seattle. He served 224 years as chief, daughter of Mr and Mrs John A Acton of Paris and son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Monter of Arapahoe Nebraska. His wife Agnes Overmeyer of Mexico and their six children will move to Pendleton Oregon where he will work for the Cummins Diesel Co.
