Missouri Contestants Vie For Miss Missouri Title
Five candidates compete for Miss Missouri honors in Sedalia and beyond. Cynthia Heeren from Sedalia, 20, attends Central Missouri State College and majors in interior design. she performs a crayon drawing and musical number to I Takes A Woman from Hello Dolly while piano accompanies. Susan Senn of Thayer, 18, plans Drury College attendance, danced and sang as talents, with a history as homecoming queen and Miss Thayer High School. Paula Fisher of Kansas City, 20, SMS senior, trains in dance and piano and will present an interpretative dance. Lynn Klingler of Maryville, 19, Northwest Missouri State College student, 5 feet 7 inches, 120 pounds, slated to sing My Way. she was a 1971 Maid of Cotton Queen candidate and tutors the mentally retarded in summer program.
