US Inspectors For Meat Plants Take Over In Missouri
US Agriculture Department inspectors will oversee all meat and poultry plants entirely in Missouri starting August 15. About 300 meat and 22 poultry facilities are affected, saving Missouri 530 thousand dollars that the legislature had allotted to sustain state inspection.
