Mrs. Burkhalter Elected Wellsville United Fund Head
Mrs. William Burkhalter was chosen president of the Wellsville and Community United Fund Board at a Monday meeting. She succeeds Mrs. Raymond Woodson, with others reelected to terms, and the board approved allocations totaling funded grants to Cerebral Palsy, Red Cross, Cancer and Heart Research, and community programs.

Paris Seminars Open Death Series at Baptist Church
The first death seminar led by Rev. Dallas Bundy convened at the Paris Baptist Church. Upcoming sessions feature Dr. Robert Warbritton January 23, E H Agnew January 30, and Attorney Floyd Lawson February 6. Bundy also hosts Sunday children sermons at 10:30 am for ages 3 to 10. The Paris Chapter of OES hosted a district inspection with 57 attendees including Madison, Santa Fe, and Paris members. State officers attended and a buffet closed the event. Monroe County NFO met at the Paris courthouse electing officers led by George Flynn with new collection points in Moberly. Centralia couple Dale and Grace Grace vacationed in Montego Bay Jamaica.
