Nixon Renews Call For Stalled Bills In Mexico City
Developer Roy Moyle of Econo Developers seeks 40 feet of frontage from the Mexico School Board for widening Fairground Ave as part of a 642 lot residential project. Groundbreaking on the first 85 lots is planned in three weeks, with a 60 foot right of way and a new eight inch sewer line to be funded by the company. Zoning would be single family with a commercial buffer along the railroad. The board also renewed Supt. L. Buford Thomas’s contract and approved teacher raises postponed during the wage-price freeze. Resignations and new hires were announced at the district.
