MHS Track Season Opens With Early Indoor Trials
The 1972 MHS track season starts February 14 under Coach Ron Whittaker as the team prepares for the CEMO Conference Indoor Meet on March 18. Before that, two time trials are set at Missouri Military Academy Fieldhouse, with the first after school this Wednesday and a March 11 road trip to follow.

Sophomore Randy Ezell Makes State in Mexico Wrestling
Randy Ezell of MHS, a 260 pound sophomore, was the sole wrestler to reach the state championships in Lees Summit. He won district and regional rounds, defeating Jerry Stieferman and Jesse Henson before a 4-3 loss to David Pietrazek. Ezell posted 23 wins and 7 losses, with a noted prior national shot put title in 13 age group.
