A Los Angeles couple Nile Dwayne Marx 43 and Shirley Ann Marx 21 were booked on impersonation of Patricia Hearst kidnapers to collect 100000. Police said they telephoned the Hearst home in Hillsborough and arranged to leave the money at a downtown LA bus station. They were arrested at the drop point after traveling from Columbia Missouri where Marx worked for the Columbia Cab Co and Ann Turner Marx faced family disapproval and accusations of threats over the incident.
