Chance Project Adds 100 Jobs In Centralia
A.B. Chance Co. completed a new million-dollar wire products building in Centralia to house its acquired Cleveland line. The East Street facility, led by Factory Manager David N. Green, created nearly 100 new jobs and expanded warehousing while consolidating testing labs. Ground broke in February and the plant became fully operational by September 1972, financed by a $1 million industrial revenue bond approved by voters.
