Motorcycle Crash Victim Has Surgery
Clark Calvin Bishop, 16, of Montgomery City, underwent surgery Tuesday evening after a motorcycle crash on Shamrock Road five miles west of Montgomery City. He was riding a Honda passed by a car driven by Marian Busken when the car left turns and was struck. He remains in satisfactory condition at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico with injuries including a broken left leg a dislocated and broken left arm abrasions and a facial contusion. The accident occurred around 4 45 p m there were no arrests. The Bishop family moved from Wellsville last November and Click is a junior at Montgomery R 2 High School. His father works on Alaska pipeline projects. He was rushed to the hospital by Schlanker ambulance.

Mandel Returned to Florida on Drug Possession Charges
Florida officials extradited Robert James Mandel from Missouri after his arrest in Mexico on possession of more than 35 grams of marijuana.
