William E. Schowengerdt is appointed staff vice president auditing at McDonnell Douglas effective January 1, replacing retiring C. Ruffin Crow after 27 years with the company. Schowengerdt, a former Montgomery County resident, previously served five years as audit manager of the United States General Accounting Office and joined the company in 1959 as an auditor.
