The Worthwhile Extension Club met at Mrs Wayne Fountain s home. A get well fund was signed for Mrs E L Prather currently at Audrain Medical Center. Secret pal names were drawn for the coming year. Attending were Mrs W E Edwards Mrs Roland Frey Jr and others. The next meeting is Jan 15 at Mrs Frey s home.

Mr and Mrs Gerald Schutte of Mexico entertained the Benton City Busy Bee Club on December 14 with a turkey dinner. Twelve members and families attended. secret pal gifts were exchanged and names drawn for the next year. They sang carols and planned the next meeting for January 22 at 1 30 p.m. at Mrs Rubert Lay's home.

Xi Gamma Alpha Holds Carry-In Dinner
Xi Gamma Alpha sorority of Beta Sigma Phi met Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J W Baker for a Christmas party and carry-in dinner. A turkey was prepared by the hostess. Members exchanged gifts and three poinsettias used as table decorations were given as door prizes.
