A distressed student writes to Santa asking for more than material gifts. She pleads for her brother to come home from Viet Nam, asks for a boyfriend, and seeks help with debt and school tasks while expressing remorse and desperation.
Wide collection of humorous and earnest holiday requests from students and staff. Toys such as wind up dolls caricatured with satirical names mix with genuine Santa letters asking for cars, music systems, books, and personal favors. The page blends playful notes with year end wishes and small jokes.
