Mr and Mrs Clark Coil of Mexico celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner party at the home of their daughter Mrs N W Orcutt in Auxvasse assisted by another daughter Mrs Gabe Morris of Rush Hill. They were married December 4 1926 in Mexico by Justice of the Peace R B Hooten. The couple have 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs Stanley Des Combes Returns from Mexico Visit
Mrs Stanley Des Combes has returned to Mexico after a month visiting her son Wayne Des Combes in Phoenix Arizona. En route she called on Mr and Mrs Bob McNelly in Winslow Arizona. She’s a Hardin College graduate and former Leeton High School teacher. She and Wayne toured Tucson the San Xavier near Tucson and saw San Francisco Giants spring training at Casa Grande. Alvin Bell Jr and Mrs Bertha Barbee of Detroit were guests of their father Alvin Bell Sr at 416 Central.
