Nadler Talk on Inflation and Trade Restraints
The piece argues inflation will intensify unless stronger action is taken, with trade restraints risking higher living costs and harmed exports. It predicts real growth around 2% to 2.5% until mid 1971, then 4% as stimulus rises, while unemployment may top 6% and inflation recurs later in 1971 unless an aggressive incomes policy is adopted.
