MHS Choir Plans Christmas Concert at Fulton Hospital
MHS Choirs will travel to Fulton State Mental Hospital Wednesday to perform a Christmas concert for patients as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming main event. The tradition continues three years running with hospital officials noting strong anticipation from patients and staff.

MHS Speech Students Present Nov Program at Rotary Club
Mexico high school speech students showcased a busy November program at the Mexico Rotary Club. Emcee Karen Ogar introduced staff changes with Hall transferring to Hardin Junior High and Volkmer and Blaue resigning. New staff Oliver Spangler and Smith joined November 1, with Spangler and Smith returning to service. Ellen Williams and Mike and Lester Miller performed pieces, and Pat VanHorn delivered Luther in dramatic form winning second place at MU. The next tournament, December 11 and 12 at William Chrisman High in Independence, Missouri, includes debate teammates.

MHS Key Club Plans Projects for 1970 71
At the MHS Key Club meeting on November 19 plans for the 1970 71 projects were discussed and new projects were voted on. Planned initiatives include campus beautification with landscaping of the walkway to the vocational building, drug education, and a possible classic film festival. Traditional activities such as community service the annual Talent Show and the Easter assembly were also discussed.
