Bills and Weeds Draw Perry Board Action
Perry's board of aldermen moved to collect delinquent utility bills by Sept. 1 with shutoffs on Sept. 6 and require high weed areas be mowed by city crews, charging costs to residents' tax bills. They approved purchasing mowers for the backhoe from Ragland's and Egbert's stations and hired Nick DiPrima to read meters for 175 dollars monthly while seeking a general maintenance man.
