Revenue Chief's Friend Overpaid by Payroll Error
A close ally of Missouri Revenue Director James LePage was apparently overpaid 1600 this year. Francis L. McCaul received 8066 from March to July while assigned to the Special Investigation Bureau would have earned 5100 less. The Aug 1 transfer to the SIB corrected payroll records. LePage defended the arrangement as an oversight and noted no change in McCaul's duties.
