Investigators found the file in Edgewood Arsenal Maryland amid a broader probe into LSD and other drug tests dating to the 1950s. The death is the first reported from extensive Army sponsored experiments involving about 4000 soldiers and civilians. The file, partially redacted, cites cardio vascular collapse as a cause though no death certificate was enclosed. Names from the study were not released.
