ALC Accepts Book of Worship in Unanimous Vote
MINNEAPOLIS AP The Church Council of the American Lutheran Church voted unanimously to accept the proposed Lutheran Book of Worship. The council rejected a LCMS plea to delay publication for two years for review. Plans to publish the combined hymnal and service book in 1978 remain. The LCA Executive Council and ELCC Church Council are expected to approve in September.
