Missouri campaign funds show incumbents outspend and outcollect
The AP reports 44 Missouri candidates running for 10 House seats and one Senate post have raised more than $890,000 and spent about $292,000 in the Sept 1 to July 15 period. Incumbents led in both fundraising and spending. Eagleton led all candidates with $399,000 in funds and $166,000 in expenses. Curtis and Litton among notable spenders. Sixty two firemen from 16 units in 11 counties attended the regional firefighting school in Mexico.
