Bikeathon to aid Central Missouri Diabetic Camp
National Baby Week features a co sponsored bike a thon May 10 by the Mexico Regional Diabetes Association and the Optimist Club to benefit a Central Missouri Diabetic Children’s Camp near Columbia. Riders 8 to 15 and 15 plus compete for four prizes each with sponsors per mile. Starting at Lakeview Park Shelter 9 am to 1 pm. Dave Kemp plans route. David Terpstra oversees supervision and refreshments. Applications available at local merchants. committee includes Mrs. Shrader and Messrs Terpstra Kemp Brumbeck Turner Ehrhardt Mortenson.

Mr. and Mrs. James R. McQuaid of Mineral Wells Texas returned home after a four day visit in Mexico with her relative Sarah Anne Gillam. Gillam’s child is the daughter of Ernest and Mrs Gillam of Mexico with James and Mrs Gillam of West Plains and Victor Malis of Crown Point Ind. A senior citizens meeting is set for Wednesday at 1 30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church with all seniors invited. Mrs M L Stephenson will present the program. Call numbers provided for transportation. Jennifer Seay and Tracy Seay are daughters of Mr. and Mrs Randy Seay of Laddonia with Herbert Seay as grandfather.
