Gene Howes associate sales manager for the Mexico district of Western and Southern Agencies has accepted a position with the Laurian Corporation in Kirksville. He and his wife Kay will move with daughters Patty and Jason after their Mexico home is sold. The Laurian Corp makes environmental control products for industry homes and agriculture. Howes will run the Kirksville dealership. Previously he taught at Mexico High School for seven years before joining the Western and Southern insurance agency. Kay Howes was a physical education instructor at MHS and both are active in civic and church activities.
