Davis es Fered Sunday On 50th Wedding Anniversary

Santa Fe couple Mr. and Mrs. Kozel Davis celebrated their golden 50th wedding anniversary with a Sunday afternoon reception at their home attended by about 150 friends and relatives. The couple’s son and daughter-in-law, Jack Levis of Mexico, hosted, with grandchildren Eric and Lance Davis and sister Jaseah Davis of Mexico among the greeters. The event featured spring flowers, a three tiered cake with the numerals 50, and a display of anniversary gifts. The Davises’ long marriage included early years in Mexico, a trucking career, and retirement in 1972 after four decades in business. Mrs. Davis, a native of Staunton, Virginia, and Mr. Davis, a lifelong Santa Fe resident, continue to enjoy fishing and hunting together.
