Blood drive at Paris ends year with rise in Monroe units
A steady stream of donors filled the American Legion Hall in Paris on Friday as 198 pints were collected. The last bloodmobile visit of the fiscal year fell short of the 98 pint quota, but Monroe County’s total helps avert losing the program. Workers wrapped up by 9 p.m. and turned away a number of volunteers. In related notes, MIS. Hare hosted Salem WMU gathering with a Home Missions lesson led by Mrs. Floyd Fanning and others.
