Dear Heloise Easter hats and travel mementoes
Dear Heloise suggests a brimmed cloth hat filled with waxed grass and favors as a spring Easter basket and offers tips for storing salve by inverting jars in warm water before chilling. Also mentions using cotton swabs between louvered slats for quick painting, clipping travel brochures for keepsakes, and a playful garden-size quip about spring duties.

Exhibits reveal artifacts of bygone yesteryears at museum
Audrain County Historical Society showcases an array of era artifacts including a lap robe once used by councilman J. Sanford and a fringe piece from a buggy canopy. Memorials and new members are acknowledged, and tickets for an April 18 "Up with People" production go on sale. The museum will close this afternoon for Good Friday services and reopen Saturday.
