State Health Officer Blunt ordered Dr. W M Greer to Milam county to inspect a suspected smallpox case near the Brazos bottoms between Cameron and Hearne. The patient is a genuine case, isolated with no danger of spread. The man who brought the infection fled from Houston. The case lies twenty five miles from Cameron.
