Wilson Gregg a well known Fort Worth attorney died September 30 at his home at 556 College avenue. He suffered a fall several weeks earlier when he lost control of a bicycle on Rusk street causing a fracture of the right hip. His death surprised the bar as he had been improving and was expected back on the streets soon. He was about 47, a son of the late Bishop Gregg and had practiced mainly criminal law in Texas cities including Austin Galveston and Fort Worth.

Death of Ladonia man: morphine self-administered
Mr. James Monroe Vaughan aged about 70 was found dead in his bed at Ladonia after returning from town. He lived with his wife three miles east with grown children away.
