Misdemeanor Jury Trials Set in Limestone County

Limestone County District Attorney Don S Caldwell Jr announced on July 8 1976 that 34 misdemeanor cases are set before Judge Calvin Hardison. A total of 46 misdemeanor jury trials are planned from Sept 1 to Nov 10. In Ferguson’s 77th District Court 22 felony trials are scheduled for July 26 to October.

Revival Under Way At Union Baptist Church

Ford signature needed to stave off rate hike

If not signed, withholding would increase as expiring tax cuts take effect, affecting a typical four member family by hundreds annually. Teague High names Pettit Athletics Chief then resigns

Limestone County records show numerous cases filed and disposed

County District Attorney Dan Caldwell announced a March to June 1976 tally in Limestone and District Courts. A wide range of felonies and misdemeanors including DWI, burglary, marijuana possession, welfare fraud, hot checks, theft, and assaults were filed, with judges convicting many defendants and revoking probation in several cases.

Mrs. Harrison to head Breath of Life drive for CF here

Mrs. Hubert(a) Harrison is named chairman in Mexia for the September Breath of Life Campaign of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by North East Texas Chapter President William B. Henley Jr. She will recruit volunteers for education and a door to door drive as part of ongoing efforts to support CF care and research nationwide.
