Water Line Tied Into City's Supply
A temporary four inch pipe has been tied into Mexia city water from Mexia State School and Home. Puryear Construction of Austin completed the project and will soon start more work on the school's mains and gas lines. The pipe connects at the old Iley pump station and a permanent eight inch line will be laid in about a month. Road work on school grounds costing about twenty five thousand dollars will begin soon by the State Highway department.
