Head on collision kills Mexia woman near Mexia on rainy Highway 14
A head on crash south of Mexia on rain slicked Highway 14 killed 34 year old Nana Morris Gladden, passenger in Kenneth R. Patrick’s 1972 Dodge. Patrick, in fair condition with chest injuries and a broken leg, and Wanda Nutt, driver of the 1973 Dodge, also in fair condition with chest injuries. Police noted a second three car wreck later that night in Mexia with Susan Inez McGowan hurt. Local authorities investigated another two car crash at West Milam and North Denton.
