Mexia Fam-Lyn Carnival Opens With Oddly Named Rides
The Fam-Lyn Carnival by Tam-Lyn Amusements comes to town near the National Guard Armory with rides such as the Boom-a-Rang Octopus Paratrooper and a list of 15 amusements. Tickets go four for $1 in advance at local merchants and 50 cents at the gate. Open 5 p.m. nightly with a 2 p.m. weekend matinee for State School residents.
